Fremantle will host the 2024 AFL Masters National Carnival for the first time. The 41st Masters Carnival will be just the fifth occasion WA has staged the event. The announcement was made last night at the conclusion of the 2023 AFL Masters National Carnival at Maroochydore in Queensland. Over 70 teams across seven age brackets will descend on Fremantle in October next year with the aim of becoming AFL Masters National Champions. 2024 AFL Masters Ireland Tour

Congratulations to the following AFL Masters WA players selected to represent Australia on the upcoming International Series Ireland Tour in March 2024. First Test match is in Galway on 6th March 2024, and concludes in Dublin with the second test match on 18th March.  There is a midweek game against a local provincial team as well. 2023 National AFL Masters Champions

During the recent National AFL Masters Carnival in Maroochydore WA was successful in winning 2 titles, the Women’s Over 40s Division 1 and Men’s Over 50s Division 1. (photos attached). Both teams won all three games across the week by playing team football with high pressure tackling and fluent footskills.   WA also had longest kick winner in the 40s Womens by Danielle Fagents with a booming kick of  37 metres and Michael Ferritto in Mens Over 55s with 47metres, with John Isaacson winning the 100m sprint in Mens 35s competition.   Ernest Sharpe won the Men’s 50s Division 1

2023 Sunshine Coast National Carnival Logo

AFL Masters is proud to reveal a uniquely Queensland logo that will be used at this year's AFL Masters National Carnival on the Sunshine Coast. Indigenous artist Greg Wellington from Broken Hill was commissioned by AFL Masters National to design the logo.
